About Porthcothan Bay Beach

Long sandy sheltered dog friendly bay with sand dunes behind. Surfing not the best, but ok for beginners. Swimming not advised at low tide due to strong current. All the facilities available, plus a lifeguard during summer months.
Location for Nampara Cove in the recent Poldark TV series.
