About Prideaux Place

Elizabethan manor house and the home of the Prideaux family since its completion in 1592. The house, gardens and deer park are open to the public. Tea Rooms available. Prideaux Place has connections with the 'Poldark' novelist Winston Graham and boasts a few mentions in the books. Some of the Estate was used for filming the current TV series.
