About Bodmin

Bodmin sits on the edge of Bodmin Moor (no surprises there) and used to be the county town until the county offices were moved to Truro. It has links with Daphne du Maurier who found most of her inspiration for writing in Cornwall. There's a small museum dedicated to her at Jamaica Inn. Full of interesting buildings.

Bodmin Moor was used for the outdoor rugged, riding shots of Poldark (in case that interests you), and is home to many natural attractions and some great walking
