About Callington

Small market town in between Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, in the 18th century it was the gateway to the copper mining industry and dominated by the mining stack at Kit Hill (now a country park).

Close to the Tamar Valley & 14 miles from Plymouth.

Callington is best known for its sporting connections, with very active football and cricket clubs, it has itys own station, and is the home of Ginsters Pies!
