"Beautiful House
We stayed in the beautiful Gwelavon house from the 3rd to the 10th August and we absolutely loved it. We found the house to not only be spotless, but decorated to a very high standard and stocked with everything we could possibly need for a week and more. Tea, coffee, milk, scones, cream and jam on arrival, which was very welcoming. The open plan living and balcony on the ground floor was lovely. The bifold doors were kept open due to the lovely weather and we could all appreciate the lovely views of the harbour. The little garden below was sweet and well kept. Smart televisions in the living and double bedrooms were an unexpected surprise and appreciated for a few lazy mornings. Free WiFi and the signal worked well even on the very top floor. The bedrooms were all generous in size, even the twin room and the family bathroom and en suite were very modern and again spotless. Location was perfect for a 10 minute walk onto Falmouth. Downhill all the way, but be prepared for a very hilly walk back. Some lovely beaches nearby. The location was a perfect base for exploring other areas. Parking for one car, with road parking readily available for other cars. Be prepared as some of the roads are very steep and narrow, and due to so many cars parking on the road, there may be a few tight squeezes. We highly recommend Gwelavon and will definitely be returning" - 5 star rating
