Summary
Built in approximately 1871, and forming what was once part of Rosecare Farm, this lovely old cottage used to house the corn grinding wheel which was powered by either horse or donkey. The Cottage provides a tranquil base for those wishing to enjoy walking on the rugged coastal paths of North Cornwall, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings in the quiet hamlet of Rosecare. The views towards Crackington Haven inspire the artist and photographer alike. The cottage sits facing a very pretty village green, pictured above, and has received a four star rating from the ETC. There is a seating area to the front, and parking directly alongside for one car. The ground floor comprises of an open living area, kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom. A steep staircase leads from the living room to a good sized single galleried bedroom. Because of the staircase to the galleried bedroom, this not suitable for children under the age of eight. Facilities include : T.V, Freeview/Recorder, DVD, Micro Hi-Fi, washing machine, night storage heaters, wood burner, microwave, fridge and an electric cooker. Maps and books of the local area are also available for guests to use.
