About Levant Mine and Beam Engine

Part of the Mining World Heritage Site (Cornwall & Devon) and managed by the National Trust, this is the only Cornish beam engine in the world that is still in steam on its original mine site. It's a dramatic location, standing perilously on the cliffs at Pendeen, and was famously used as 'Tressiders Rolling Mill' in the most recent Poldark to hit our screens.
